We’ve had quite a lot of ex Millwall over the years, Derek Possee, Mark Kennedy, Tony Craig, Anton Outolakowski, Matt Lawrence, Andy Roberts, Darren Ward, Chris Armstrong, to name a few

Us older fans will remember a seemingly endless parade of ex-West Brom players ending up at Selhurst Park in the mid 60s.

Keith Smith, Derek Kevan, Brian Wood, Dave Burnside, Roy Horobin, Tony Millington, Jack Bannister - with most of them on our books at the same time for at least a period.

In my opinion by far the best of all our West Brom recruits was Ronnie Allen, who played for us for about five years at the start of the 60s. Before Byrne left us for West Ham, he and Allen formed a great partnership.

Did we also have that lad that passed away a few years after playing for us on loan from Liverpool? I think he’s name began with an ‘I’. I remember him playing in a dull goalless draw at Scunny.

Was it Idranej?

Found this in HOL's Player Database . . . [Link]

From Arsenal:

David Price
Tommy Black
Julian Gray
Clive Allen

A few loan players but I am not sure they count. There must be more?

One more point

Nicky Rizzo came from Liverpool - about 20 years ago. I don't know if I'm thinking about the right person, but I think it was he who scored one of the flukiest goals I've seen. It was at the Whitehorse end, and a defender, just inside his penalty area, attempted to smash the ball upfield. It hit our man at a range of about two feet and ricocheted like a rocket back into the net. It happened so quickly that when a pal at the far end asked me on the way home what had happened, I wasn't really sure.

On other names, I don't think Martin Kelly has been mentioned yet.

How did I forget Ronnie Allen? I saw him score a hat-trick against Charlton in 1964 at Selhurst.

We went through a phase of taking end-of-career chelsea players:
Tanbling, Cooke, Mulligan, Birchenall and recently, Loftus-Cheek, Batshuyai & Cahlil.

Who have I missed?

Hopkin and Damien Mathew

My Dad mentions that Charlie Bumstead, Roy Summersby & Peter Burridge, were all ex Millwall.
