My Dad mentions that Charlie Bumstead, Roy Summersby & Peter Burridge, were all ex Millwall. And your dad will no doubt remember Ron Heckman, who was in our 19060/61 promotion-winning side. I looked up his record and I see that he scored 25 goals in 84 games - not bad for a winger.

Indeed he does and refers to Ron Heckman as an unsung hero from that period. Vic Rouse was also another buy from the Lions.
