It replays in my mind even to this day, in slow motion - which was pretty much the speed at which it occurred! Emboldened by the Palace fightback, I made the return trip a few days later for the League Cup tie, in which needless to say we were s***e; but we weren't helped by a dreadfully biased referee and an appallingly bad lineslady.

I too was at The Dell with my Dad for our 2-3 win. Wearing our all blue away kit, I remember Wrighty having a right rant at his team mates, especially Geoff Thomas midway through the first half and the Southampton fans going Ooooooohh at Wrighty's outburst. He was fired up as usual and played a blinder scoring twice and Bright got the winner.
