If you were writing an article with the intention to take the piss out of the kits, I can't actually think of a much better first paragraph.

Whilst I applaud the sentiment and understand how happy Richard and his 7 year old son maybe - really...!!!

If we are going to do this lets open the debate to all fans and in that scenario I’m confident the outcome would be;

White home kit with red and blue sash
Red and Blue away kit
Yellow third kit

Come on Steve give us all a voice...!!

Whilst on that point get some signings done..!!

puma would have paid an up front fee to make the clubs merchandise in the 1st place, however after that initial fee most clubs on average only get approx 7% commission on any product sold there after. 7% of £50 is approx £3.50.

the deal liverpool have struck with nike is 20% and thats a one of a kind deal.

Wrong

Anybody that has been involved in manufacturing etc knows this is incorrect.

They are taking the model that a lot of big clubs use to get around money in the books so Adidas say pays United 300m deal yet United only get 7% of the shirts well that is why they was given the 300m.

Your claim is that Palace get only £3.50 so Puma are getting around £38 per shirt yeah right no one would sign a deal like that it doesn't even cost £5 to produce the shirt.

Some people really do listen to such BS and take it as face value go to places like China do factory tours etc you may then get a proper understanding on how it really works.

By the way you can already pre order shirts from the likes of China for about £10 how is that possible its not out yet simple they use the same templates from original puma ones some are even made in same factory.

The kits are fine, don't know what everyone is whinging about.

Much better now we don't have crap uneccesary bits of yellow on the neck and sleeves or the bands that run down the arm.

They look like a nice shape as well rather than the super tight with long sleeves that puma usually do.

I'd say it's the nicest home kit we've had since 15/16
