It depends on what you believe "Heaven" to be.

If you go down the usual route of it being eternal bliss, and you die before your family and friends, then wouldn't your experience of Heaven be less perfect without them? If you spend your first few years waiting around for your old friends to turn up, then how good are they really?

We're talking about stuff no-one can really qualify now, I just think that if's meant to be perfect, then it has to be timeless, too.

Plus, what if some guy you work with is an absolute ass to you, so you hate him, but he does a lot of charity work and is a fantastic husband/father? If he gets into Heaven then won't that harm your experience?

It's stuff like this that makes me lean to the "bigger consciousness" idea, where individuals no longer exist.
