Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

The common sense and fairness of the silent majority. With all this madness going on you would think we are all of a certain political persuasion. However come election time we do not vote for extremists and never have done.

I suspect most people are somewhat sympathetic to the problems of racism far more so that our European cousins. However BLM do not reflect the average man in the street and we do not like violence or vandalism.

Time for Boris and the police to step up.

I wouldn't say proud (nor ashamed). I'd say happy to be this ethnicity (white British). It's the only one I know and it doesn't make me any better or worse than anyone else in the world.

When I get to know people from overseas and hear what attracted them to leave their country of birth and start a new life in the UK.
On the whole, it seems, as a people, we have more respect and manners than the ones in their former homelands. Also a sense of fairness allowing everybody to have a decent crack of the whip whatever one's background may be.
As the OP has encouraged a light-heartedness to this thread, for now, I'll suppress my real horror when I recognise my tribe falling short on the qualities mentioned above.
So, as well as The Red Arrows ( as mentioned by KBLF) too, although I can't fathom why, I also have pride in our nation's interpretation of Chuck Berry's Rock'n'roll throughout the 60's, 70's and beyond, sometimes known, across the pond as The British Invasion.

Churchill. The film industry (Ealing, Hammer, Carry On etc). P G Wodehouse. The finest Empire the world has ever seen.

I know. My montage of the Germans Scene signed by John Cleese has just rocketed in value.

My signed picture of Tommy Black is looking promising as an investment now.
