Tribal opposition to any different point of view. Tempting to post the Spiked article on why Prem football shirts isn’t the place for this statement but no point in going anywhere near people who think you’re either one thing or the other with their tribe of nutters demanding you die if you don’t agree. The issues aren’t on the football field anyway.

Not my usual read, but some great thought provoking points. My Q? is, WHY are UEFA/FIFA allowing the EPL to get away with this? They state very clearly(someone will find the exact wording) that political statements of any kind are not allowed on kits/clothing whilst engaged in a match, both before during & after.

Kneeling would be a physical act in support of what I see as a very mixed message.
Incidentally if kneeling meant you were against racism then I would kneel for sure. It is abundantly clear that is not what it is singularly for though.

I hope that little display of knee bendings doesn't come back to haunt them like when the England team did a Nazi salute for Hitler before WW2.

There will be players who aren't thrilled about wearing BLM on their shirts or being expected to kneel but you can be sure that we won't get to hear about it.

All we will hear are from those in support of it....because only one message is accepted by the FA and any player who spoke otherwise would be punished.

BLM is a left-wing propagandist movement that uses an intangible issue to push a leftist agenda. It has been legitimized by fearful stockholders.

I, for one, cannot watch football when there is this kind of virtue-signalling nonsense going on. I would love to have watched the premier league return this week, but sadly my principles will not let me.

Do you beleive this is purely,I mean purely about racism and no hidden agendas of changing a whole host of democratic rules and laws. Ref chaz came from blm and that's clearly not just about racism.

It'll be interesting to see how many if chosen by their respective countries of course. Stand up & say I would no longer like to be chosen to represent my country at this years Qatar World Cup Finals.

Got a mate at sky who reckons that in the United-Villa game, the ref did know the ball had crossed the line.

Villa complained though that as Sheffield United fielded XI white players, it was not their fault the ball went in despite the equality of opportunity for both teams to score and the obvious problems with villas defence. Apparently, the ball went in as a result of systemic prejudice of the GDS process against Villa and despite the lack of definition of that systemic problem or evidence for it Villa deny any responsibility for conceding a goal and claimed it should not be counted because of Sheffield United’s privilege

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

How long before we have a round of games celebrating transgenderism? I don't recall any Palace fan having an issue with Eddie Izzard. Then they'll be campaigning for secularism, planned parenthood, while the national flag, the Army and Abide With Me will be gone from the Cup Final. Anything that rids the country of its 'evil' British culture... To hell with you if you disagree with this. It's bad enough having to watch Gary Linekar on MOTD. You'll then start finding people hand their season ticket in and watch non-league football instead.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
