A good lad. I liked how he said this issue meant much more to him than any trophy. A wise for his years perspective and commendable concern for those in need.

Lots of these claimants clearly pulling a fast one and always have throughout their existence but sometimes you have to use the scatter gun approach.
If just a quarter of these families actually need this cash then that's a good thing. The others will all get theirs eventually. Just saying.

PVA got involved too with Katie Hopkins and her suspectvtweets

The great thing is it that Rashford had no political axe to grind. People who don't need the free school meals won't be on the system, or they will probably need to show a change in circumstance to qualify, so not easily abused.

Rashford is just doing something he believes in. In the current climate it's a massive victory for those struggling with young children, many of them in London

Pure class, and he can play a bit!

"Man who kicks a ball for a living says something obvious", ...shock horror.

So BJ won't listen to scientific advice, but he does listen to a bloke who kicks a ball when he says a couple of sentences, after heightened media exposure

Doesn't anyone else despair ? How the media control lives

The outcome was positive, but it's how it needed to be achieved which completely perplexes me.

next headlines,...."BJ presents Liverpool with PL trophy after season cancelled",..."Rashford Knighted"

"The facts have changed", Rishi Sunak

This is something Dominic Cummings said would be done some months ago.

Or rather, he will have said that...

Forest I'll be honest Rashford doesn't strike me as a lad who has any interest in politics... What I like about this is he hasn't been a sheep and just followed the popular narrative (As in BLM etc)

This is obviously something he feels very strongly about. He hasn't got race involved in it so I say fair play to the lad.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

No other footballer, celebrity or anyone in a position to have any influence spoke out and if, like others, he had stayed silent on the matter it's doubtful much would have changed. Welll done Marcus Rashford, you have helped a lot of poorer families by using your voice for positive change.

Man is the most insane species. He worships an invisible God and destroys a visible Nature. Unaware that this Nature he’s destroying is this God he’s worshipping.

Good on him for putting the government to task on this, and shows how absolutely useless they are with Matt Hancock not even knowing his name and our useless prime minister not even knowing about his campaign.
It would have suited their agenda no one bringing this up because they know that if a person who desperately needed this payment had complained they would have been crucified as scroungers by the press.
As for Hatie Cockpins that vile creature should just crawl away and vanish from our lives
