I've just seen an Arsenal shirt for tonight's PL game.

There is a BLM design featuring the clenched fist that signifies 'Black Power'.

Does anyone know if the CPFC shirts will follow suit?

If so I will not be watching, just as I would not be if we featured a 'White Power', 'Asian Power', 'Chinese Power', etc symbol.

For all the critism I've given BLM - It is not a Black Power movement.

As PVA said - it just shows a lot of frustrated and angry young people that the world cares about them.

Organisations like Anti-FA are hell bent on causing trouble and exploiting that anger.

Nothing wrong with protecting statues either, but organisations like EDL are hell bent on exploiting peoples anger as a result of Anti-FA's actions.

Both groups are full of hate blame all their problems on other people.

Enjoy your protest, you'll only be impacting yourself.

Okay. Thanks for that. It answers my question. Obviously we have to display the 'Black Power' fist or probably face expulsion from the PL.

Deluded. It does nothing of the sort. The premier league have decided and we’re in a time of you either show your support or you oppose it. No in between.

The issues are in black homes, school and the workplace. Both sides of the debate have a responsibility and some changes should happen. It is not for the professional football pitch, and certainly not the place for a (marxist) political organisation that wants to get rid of the police. And as for footballers backing Marxism?

Would make sense in America. Youths in Britain happy to alienate themselves from respectable society call where they live ‘the hood.’

As PVA's a black man, and he said that. I think deluded is a strong term.

Anti-FA and EDL both try to alienate groups to help their recruitment. OTT crittism of BLM will help them do that. It's a tried and tested technique used by extremist.

The whole thing has been blown out of proportion by both sides who are determind to make us hate each other because of events happening thousands of miles away.

When push comes to shove, a logo on a football shirt is pretty irrelevant.

The last time I checked, someone who is for a political statement doesn’t have ownership of how effective it is when the real issues are nowhere near the place the logo is on show. Will it actually improve the lives of any normal black lives? Have you listened to any black members of BLM and their demands? I’d say that is pretty divisive.

I agree with this in bold. And the young people in Britain claiming they feared for their lives every day was one of the biggest exaggerations of all time. BLM have contributed with the divisiveness though.

The copycat the USA culture here is embarrassing most of the time and at times dangerous.

WARNING: Posting on this subject may destroy your life.

Please carefully consider commenting on BLM issues under a username that is easily identifiable.

We have seen in the USA employees of Whole Foods, IndyCar and Facebook sacked for not prostrating themselves in total submission to BLM.

The first rule of BLM : 'Don't criticise BLM.'

Exactly. It's just a logo.

Just listend to Gary McFarlen too. He seems very dangerous, like a black Nick Griffin.

Would be nice to see him put in the spotlight more and torn appart - rather than just criticm of the idea that BLM.

He's praying on the idea of inequality to recruit for the extreme left.

Would say he's worse than Nigel Farage.... at least everyone knows the he's completely out for himself.
