You are right, I totally disagree with you! Played the ball fairly, then made contact, which could not be avoided

If that was a Craig Dawson v Wilfried Zaha, I suspect many of our supporters would have deemed a "Red" appropriate !!!!

Red card for me also.

The ref perfectly positioned to see that this was not just a follow through but a deliberate deviation.

Full marks to the ref.

I haven’t yet seen one pundit, reporter, commentator or ex pro share your view. In fact I have to agree with David Moyes and others who have stated that the decision could only have been made by someone who has never played the game.

Btw, the (perfectly positioned) ref didn’t give it. He was told by the VAR to subsequently go and look at the monitor.

There was no deviation. The follow through made by Balbuena was a perfectly natural one and anyone who has played the game would say the same.

Replacing Chilwell for Zaha (or any other of our players for that matter) wouldn’t change the fact that it wasn’t even a foul, never mind a red card.

They would be wrong.

Backward pressure rubbing on the calf, that is not a natural follow through.

Deliberate, cynical, clever, but got caught out.

Pundits, especially Lineker, should go to spec-savers.

Sorry it was a natural follow through. Not sure where you get the backward pressure rubbing down the calf. He had got the ball cleanly with a perfectly timed tackle. Players are always going to get caught during tackling. This is the sort of decision that will eradicate tackling. Wouldn’t be surprised if red overturned imo

Well let's see if there is an appeal and what it brings.

I have just reviewed it again and to me B does more than follow though and forces into the back of the leg, but it is not an easy spot.

The other incident I felt was a natural follow through.

Sakho last year, for example, a natural follow through.

The ref, after consulting the monitor, looks very clear in his mind.

All tackles look bad in slow motion. It was a very harsh sending off. Having won the ball comfortably before the other player got even close he was doing nothing other than following through on a natural path. I agree with those who say it wasn't even a foul.

There appears to be lots of decisions these days which are contrary to what everyone knows is correct who has played the game. Another classic was a players foot being taken out and jammed against the ball which is a foul but is not given because it looks like the ball has travelled on the path it would take if it was a clean tackle.

Luke Shaw handballed in the area and adverted the ball reaching a Leeds player in a clear scoring position

Made no effort to get out of the way and the ball was not diverted into him.

Was a definite penalty and potential red card. VAR was supposed to root out bias but MU still getting the decisions

The pundits said Leicester goal was a hand ball last night. I didn't see the replay - what did everyone else think?

Hand ball, hand ball, hand ball, HAND BALL...... Sorry, we are the wrong team to get that decision. VAR is licensed cheating.

Actually I have no idea as I didn't see the incident, but you get my drift.

From what I saw it looked from one angle that it had hit his hand but then when viewed from another (behind the player) it clearly hit the inside of his thigh and was a good 12 inches away from his hand.

It was just one misleading camera angle that looked like a handball but it was quickly ruled out when viewed from other angles.
