I don't want to talk Ward up too much when he is just about to face the three up front of Liverpool. Probably our best signing ever, perhaps along with Speroni. Ayew is great but will never have the years of service they have.

I would consider McArthur more of an unsung hero. The bloke has played about 200 games for us in the Premier, hardly ever injured, got a great engine and runs his heart out for the team. He doesn't have many shocking performances if any, normally his performances are a 7 or more, his consistency over the seasons is remarkable.

Agree but we didn't buy him 8 years ago for twopence while still in tier 2.

Totally agree that Jimmy Mac(arthur) has been really good for us. I know the Beeb gave Luka MOTM but the fans saw it rightly quite differently. Just one example of Mac working his socks off and yet not getting the plaudits from the pundits.

love him or hate him over the years has always given everything and keeps himself fit, for me has always given his best, maybe not always worked out but always 100% Palace and if he stays for another few seasons ---no problem . No reason to knocks his effort and he's a a nice guy.
