Lloyd Honeyghan was a fine fighter, and Herol Graham a very good boxer.

I used to know Prince Rodney a good guy haven't seen him in a couple of years we would go to York Hall together.

He was an upcoming fighter until he ran into Herol Graham who stopped him in the first round. Still Prince went on later to win the British title and hold it for 3 years so not too shabby.

As for Graham the best British fighter never to win a world title. I met him at York hall about 5 years ago as with a lot of this old boxers a really nice guy and happy to do selfies.

Yes, they were. I used to enjoy watching Kirkland Laing and Colin McMillan as well.

Probably the last from me and my fading memory but The Fen Tiger, Dave ‘boy’ Green was fun to watch. Took a fearful pasting at the hands of Leonard tho’ in 1980.

He was certainly a crowd pleaser. He always tried to put on a show but Leonard was just too good for him. No shame in that though.

And the last, and possibly the best. Ken Buchanan, although it is going way back.
