Atm there are ongoing works from water companies to change all stopcocks and fit new isolation valves and water meters. Sometimes you wont even know it's been done. It's going to be law soon to have all water metered. HERES A TIP TO SAVE A COUPLE OF QUID. CHECK IF YOUR RAIN WATER GOES INTO THE DRAIN OR INTO A SOAKAWAY. IF ITS A SOAKAWAY YOU DONT NEED TO PAY THAT LITTLE BIT ON YOUR BILL. RING YOUR WATER COMPANY AND ASK THE QUESTION AS YOU SHOULD ONLY PAY IF IT GOES INTO THEIR WASTE PIPES. ALL THE BEST BARRY

Got a plumber round the corner did the job fitted a leadloc and an isolater valve and a few inches of 15ml copper pipe, I had a spare washing machine valve, he even give us a hand moving the washing machine into the out building. Cost me £45.10 so I gave him £50 and would difinately use him again, happy days😁
