Youth players in 1st team Squad.

It is noticeable that the youth players making the bench are all defenders (except Pierrick). Ie. Woods, Taveres, mitchell We are crying out for creativity yet it appears even our youth teams cant seem to produce any creative players worth a 1st team squad place.

Hardly surprising given that our U23 team were second to bottom, only ahead of the mighty Colchester United on goal difference when the lockdown came! Teams above them included Coventry, Ipswich and Charlton! We are clearly not blessed with creative young players knocking on the door of the first team. Our U18 team were 5th out of 10 but had won their last six games.

Hardly surprising given that our U23 team were second to bottom, only ahead of the mighty Colchester United on goal difference when the lockdown came! Teams above them included Coventry, Ipswich and Charlton! We are clearly not blessed with creative young players knocking on the door of the first team.
Our U18 team were 5th out of 10 but had won their last six games.

This is the reality, the Club keep banging on about our academy set up but in reality very few PL standard players have been produced past ten years. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
