Or what would he be worth if he became an integral part of Sandcastles rebuild program ?
He is young enough for them to build a team around him, or are they more likely to go directly for more high profile names in a bid to get (buy) success faster ?

He’d be crazy going there. Plus he’s a sw london boy and as the commentator on stream kept saying Selhurst is deafening plus it’s warm compared to the north. Not sure they would take to him up there. But why risk it? He’s loving life with us. If he signs he will have a few top years with us before Barcelona hoover him up or Chelsea on a priority buy back.don’t forget he’s only got 10-12 years as a player and from nothing he is now a superstar. PlusPV will deffo improve him. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Stay here if he gets that good Chelsea will buy him back

To be honest I'm not a religious man, but I'm praying we get at least a shot at signing him.

However I just can't see it. He's basically the finished article for all intents and purposes, he's off the chart talented with a massive motor and I can't see him not being a fit in almost any team out there.

Going for us however....

1 - He's a local lad.
2 - He genuinely seems to love being out there playing for us.
3 - He's guaranteed gametime
4 - Maybe. Just maybe we might be able to shake off the "they'll be lucky to avoid a relegation scrap" label, and represent a credible mid table and higher option for decent players to come to.

I don't think we took him on loan with an option to buy but he's doing the business and Chelsea won't be foolish enough to overlook his potential. We just have to be thankful we have him for the season.

Apparently there was some homophobic chanting at Connor last night, not sure why the Leeds fans felt that it was necessary unless they know something we don't.

I do wonder if he was gay if he signed for us he would definitely be supported by the fans, not sure at Chelsea that would be true as they see him as a fringe player so not worth the agro?.

I know I am clutching at straws, any excuse to sign him though.

the excuse/reason could end up being we will guarantee first team footballl
