One more point

This could quite easily come crashing down on them in a nano-second. Getting geared up for war means gloves off and little support from the masses. I don’t care how well they are armed, I don’t fancy their chances against a few teams of special forces. Either that or as someone else said, the head of the snake will be removed.

There has always been a tiny, violent separatist movement in the African American community. And it always goes tits up sooner rather than later. In this particular manifestation, they are clearly unhinged and all the swearing and so on does not point to the sort of effective leadership that pose a genuine threat although to be fair, that did look like a genuine show of force yesterday in a public space. Clearly requiring a degree of organisational ability that has to be given a modicum of respect.

Logistics is always the key to both understanding, and rating, the potential threat of any organisation that places itself at odds with the established system of Governance so we will see.

But marching through streets armed with weapons is a lot different to actual combat and whilst they all looked mean and moody, do they wield any real power?

BLM are the real deal. They have a street presence allied with an ability to have organisations such as the Premier League do their bidding. Plus corporations along with numerous city Mayors and so on. Even our own 'Official' Opposition leaders took the knee no matter how much they are trying to row back.

This militia is noisy but ultimately nothing. BLM are the real enemy and far, far more powerful. People have a tendency to confuse aggression with power. It is not. Real power is exerted in utter silence and without a gun or a knife on show.

It looks worse than it is, they have open carry laws in Texas, meaning you are free to carry a weapon down the street.

Literally, you could take an assault rifle with you when you pop to the shops. White supremacist groups also carry automatic weapons on their rallies, just saying.

They put armed people on the streets and marched as a single coherent unit. Should people be worried about them seizing power? Then clearly not. But they still clearly have a method of communicating with each other, a leadership structure and a clear and defined agenda. Puts them ahead of a lot of people.

Not sure I 'respect' them but I can acknowledge that they have made a definite impact, for both good and bad.

But BLM are by far the most powerful and present the clearest threat to much of what I hold dear.

Of course, I would rather not meet anybody on a street who is armed with an AK47 but I can also recognise that any power that person might wield ends the moment the weapon runs out of ammunition. BLM on the streets is not the scary part of them. It is BLM in the boardroom, the legislative offices, the TV stations, the offices of the big Web giants and so on. That is genuine power. And an absolute threat.
