Yep and when you do that all season you get relegated.

Well we haven't yet, so we have played well enough all season to have the right to play in top flight again.

If we were bad every game we would be relegated, if we were great every game we would be top four, that's how it works.

I'm never happy with a loss but I was happy with the way we went for it despite the unfortunate start with Cahill's injury leading to a goal.

I want to see the same effort and attacking desire in the remaining games

He’s less injured than Joniesta but less talented. Why does everyone rate him?

Would we have got a draw? Ok, the injury to Cahill was unfortunate, but what the hell happened when the ball was crossed. We weren't anywhere near it

When the long ball was played, it was a 3 v. 3 situation, with Cahill close enough to trouble Willian, preventing an easy cross and perhaps delaying him until reinforcements arrived. When Cahill went down, Willian had an easy time controlling the ball and heading directly towards goal. At this point, Dann had no good option -- stay with Giroud and allow Willian to go straight to goal, or move towards Willian and leave Giroud wide open. Simply put, two players as good as Willian and Giroud will score 9 times out of 10 in that situation.

Another darned defeat.
We could well end the season on the back of 8 successive defeats.

Was a fantastic performance though, despite the result. At 0-2 down we looked dead and buried and I was fearing the worst (again!). But Zahas wonder goal changed the game and we came back at them with a new found confidence. We really had them on the ropes for long periods of the second half, and had there been a crowd Selhurst would have been really rocking.
It may be a cliche but there were so many positives to take from that game. It doesn't really feel too bad losing like that. My faith has been restored. Up the Palace !

When games are coming thick and fast and Roy still sticks with the same 12-15 players with an average age of 31 you know he has zero faith in the rest of his squad. A couple of weeks ago he was talking about pushing for a Europa place now he’s saying it was always going to be tough to cope with so many games and a very thin squad.

Unfortunately the word for Roy is “predictable” - from his team selection to his tactics, his late substitutions and his post match interviews. I can’t see this squad keeping us up next season but equally don’t see the Board giving Roy money to spend on players to sit on the bench.

Only question left this season is will we finish above the Weed?

To be fair I don't think Roy was "talking about pushing for Europe" he was just fielding questions from the media about the possibility.

Joel Ward is a model professional, but how come a player with so much experience is almost unable to pass the ball to a team mate?
PS! Great to see Scott Dann back at his best.

Meyer suffers from the same affliction that happens to some Palace players, the less they play the better they are in the eyes of some fans and cant live up to the expectation.
By the time Camarasa left, he was the answer to all our problems, despite most fans never seen him play for us.

Really! This is exactly what I meant earlier, Joniesta came through the ranks, so must be more talented than a German International

Meyer is a good player but has rarely been given a chance and obviously does not fit into the static system that Roy wants to play. Camarasa was superb for a poor Cardiff team but again did not fit into Roy's system. Didn't see anyone say that, but he is a midfield playmaker who can pick a pass and score a goal, are you saying we don't need this?
Unfortunately some Palace fans can't see this but anyone that is a fans "favourite" for whatever reason can do no wrong
