I don't think there's much money around (lots of PL clubs have big debts and less future income than was expected pre-Covid) and as I've said elsewhere, clubs are unsure what the post-Covid 19 player values should be. Also, according to the media (if you believe it) a number of clubs need to sell before they can buy. What other PL clubs think of the Championship players who are said to be targets is anyone's guess.

I don't think there's much money around (lots of PL clubs have big debts and less future income than was expected pre-Covid) and as I've said elsewhere, clubs are unsure what the post-Covid 19 player values should be. Also, according to the media (if you believe it) a number of clubs need to sell before they can buy. What other PL clubs think of the Championship players who are said to be targets is anyone's guess.

I think you are right there is not much money around and equally there is a long time to go before the window closes . Perhaps they are all playing the waiting.

How many pages of post will we have by people slating the way the clubs run until we sign him, only to realise he's not amazing, then to see another threat 6 months later stating the club paid too much for him on overinflated wages and is poorly run. Or, to see him disappear off somewhere else for a huge fee like Tosun end up a dissapointment.

How many pages of post will we have by people slating the way the clubs run until we sign him, only to realise he's not amazing, then to see another threat 6 months later stating the club paid too much for him on overinflated wages and is poorly run.

Or, to see him disappear off somewhere else for a huge fee like Tosun end up a dissapointment.
