If you are referring to Jordan Ibe he will be lucky to be on the bench, let alone off the bench. I personally
don't want to see him near it!!

A loan, with option to buy? That is far more like it. OK suspect we'd get a better all-in price buying outright now but at least we get to check the goods first.

I may starting giving Dougie some credit if he pulls this off.

Loan to buy would be the win win situation for us. It would give us the player for the whole season now, but postpone the payment to the next one.
We'd be able then to see if things pan out right and the player can be the 15 goals striker we need before buying.
Buying and paying him could be steep but at the end of the season Benteke and Wickham contracts expire, hoping this time they will go, so that could free up the wages for Michy.
It would be worth if he can be the striker we need (hoping it won't then turn out as for Benteke...)

The buying bit of course would require Bats to WANT to sign for us after one year.

 

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
