Steve Kember.

Definitely the best bar ever opened by an ex palace player, unless anyone thinks different. Cant remember what came first, Snifters or Kembers? I do recall the man himself behind the bar, drinking and chatting rather than serving

Following Palace since 25 Feb 1978

What and you spoke to him about that did you?

Just read his autobiography, had nothing but praise for the fans. Would have mentioned it if he had been offended, as he didn’t hold back on other issues

I have supported the club for 62 years. A lot of you won't have seen Johnny Byrne play. Without doubt the best player to wear a Palace shirt.

Absolutely agree. But the question was about our favourite player, and for me that's got to be Damien Delaney.

Has to be Wilf for me as No1

However I would give an honourable mention to Sasa Curcic. Didnt stay long or play nearly enough but was a really exciting talent and one of my favourites.

Been watching since 1979 and there are so many players to pick from.

The one that always got me off my seat was Wright, but you have to give Bright a mention too as he was the perfect partner for him.

Zaha is the best of recent years and reminds me a lot of Hilaire. Great technical skills and can leave players standing, but end product needs to be improved.

Cannon the best captain closely followed by Thomas.

Martyn the best keeper closely followed by Speroni.

Player with best vision for a pass was Lombardo. Felt so sorry for him as he was so much better than the players around him.

However one player who was so far ahead of everyone else in a great team was super Kenny Sansom. An incredible player who went on to great things too. So he gets my vote.

Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.
