Yep, quite right but obviously the manager seeks other 'qualities' in his midfield/defence and so he doesn't often start, same goes for Meyer.

I am unhappy that Hodgson is in charge for another season as we need to plan for the future now. Any new boss would be delighted to have two skilful players as Reidewald and Meyer. I honestly fear the worse unless new blood and a new style is brought in.

A matter for debate but if you compare his passing ability to Miliovejic, Ward and most others in our massed defence there is no contest.
