The club will be introducing a Half Match Season Ticket for all where 13,000 supporters can watch the first 45 mins then leave the ground for the other 13,000 of us to take our seats for the second half.

This way everyone gets the opportunity to watch part of the game and the ground is only ever 50% capacity. First Half ticket holders can stay behind in the bars and watch the game whilst Second Half ticket holders can watch the first half in the Fanzone. Even the local area will benefit from once again having 26,000 supporters using the pubs and eateries etc.

It is an amazing idea which if successful will be introduced across the Premier League said a Palace spokesperson today.

I pity the fools who get drawn only to watch the first half.

They will have have thought of that. The new queuing route goes out of the ground and back in again! Once the half time whistle goes those unfortunately queuing outside will have to go home!
