Very surprised that clubs were happy to let their players holiday abroad given the short pre season and the whole possibility of having to quarantine. Also with the country being in recession why can't these loaded players holiday over here to benefit the UK economy rather than another countries in a time of need.

Still also amazes me that footballers go out on the lash and put themselves in a dodgy situation as slabhead has done. Plenty of time to get lashed up after you have retired when there are no consequences to your club and team mates plus you get some extra years playing by staying off the booze
