Yes, black people can be good at football, insightful and entertaining! A black candidate who gets the job may be better than a white candidate that didn't! It would be helpful if this thread clearly decoupled race and ability. It'd be extremely disappointing (read discriminatory) if Sky brought in three people of different races and the ones who weren't white start off with a greater level of scrutiny on them. Their ability is quite simply all that matters. At the moment your insinuation is that the presence of anything other than a white male means that person is there because of their appearance, that it couldn't possibly be because of their ability. For instance, if you had five candidates, their ability in rank order may be: 1) Black Apologies if it wasn't clear enough the first time around. I'm happy to edit it to make that point clearer.

I can totally see why Sky would want a change - their insight and entertainment benefitted massively from losing Keys and Gray and getting Neville, Carragher and Jones, as one example. While you're here, your early comment that 'Gok Wan is nearly a woman' is pretty poor. For one it's factually inaccurate - I assume you're making a reference to his homosexuality which is entirely different from being transsexual. Comments like that are part of the reason why there aren't any openly gay professional footballers.
