Up to you , it seems I was the only one to pick up on your choice of words. For what it's worth, I don't care who Sky bring in as long as I am entertained - I actually enjoyed the format of the show, hopefully I will the revamped version.

He's right though, isn't he? You see it as a problem that Palace's fanbase is largely white males. Sky probably see that as a problem as well. I am not sure why it is a problem - perhaps you could explain?

People can argue wherefore and why, but factually I’d say it’s accurate.

This has been addressed before. It’s partly due to finances, partly cultural-including supporting local clubs, which a lot of ethnic minorities don’t do as much because the local team aren’t as good as the top 2. It’s money that has no tangible or material benefit which is similar to the local club v top 2 issue and it’s not cool to be going to football. Well not Palace or similar. More likely to be cussed for it or whatever the new term is. That’s why Arsenal were different. They were successful. But top club football can be very expensive. Sky isn’t cheap either.

Not getting into why it is. But local people going to games are the lifeline of any football club. The majority of people I know who go to games at Palace, Millwall, Charlton, QPR all originally come from the local area but have moved away. Now the clubs aren't attracting people who live in very close proximity to the ground. In every place I've lived I've gone to watch the local team and it's always been something that brought the community together as a whole. London seems to have lots of fractured communities. It's not great for the club or the community in the long run.

The season ticket allocation is sold out (or was until...). I would guess a lot of season ticket holders no longer live in the immediate area. Not a dig, genuine question.
