The box office will call you back if you leave your phone number on their automated system ... there is no reason to wait on the phone line accumulating charges.

We have the opportunity until 17 Sept to reserve our seat for 2021/22 by paying £200 up front. Not ideal I know, but I think it's probably a better option than the expense and uncertainty associated with buying a ST for 2020/21.

Nobody knows what may happen over the coming months but whatever occurs it won't be business as usual. I feel the club has fulfilled my requirements altho I shall be sorry to give up my ST for a whole year. Maybe if the situation allows for it they'll run a half season ST scheme later in the year?

Well it looks like our opinions are changing things whereas if we stayed tight lipped we’d be walked all over.

All this has reminded me of Jordan selling tickets for years in advance. Parish should be very careful on things like this. He could ruin loyalty very quickly without thinking this through first or asking people if he’s out of touch with what £250, £500 or £800 is worth.

They are asking for £200 from pensioners and fans with medical conditions to hold their ST over for the 20/21 season.. How is that not asking for money ?.

Everyone is well aware we are not obliged to pay and take our money else where, but after supporting a club for 35 odd years In my case .. You tend to be a loyal customer .. regardless of the hoops and bs the club seem to be putting in the way of its fanbase for no logical reason.

You should get a job working for Palace's PR department.

I don't think people in general have an issue with the prices, it's the product.

They simply should not be trying to sell season tickets.

And the £200 down payment for 21/22 season is unnecessary and thoughtless.

The actions of a club that doesn't care about it's supporters.

You are totally missing the point.
Lifelong fans are expected to pay up front for a product the club cannot produce, and via fans loyalty, are holding supporters seats to ransom, and it stinks.

Would you be ok for wine and any alcohol to be banned throughout the winter like it has been in South Africa, along with fags, to make sure nobody gets invited round to someone’s house?

You’re effectively sticking up for 2 billionaires and however many multi millionaires to use fans for an interest free loan rather than their own money, which incidentally they didn’t themselves anyway after borrowing money from a bank down under wasn’t it? They’re taking the p1ss and it’s typically lazy, incompetent Palace and now Prem level arrogon their part. They probably don’t have anyone in-house who can extract from their own database or even reduce amounts. I bet if they reduced it to a more reasonable percentage to watch 25% of matches people may have not been as bothered. £500? Times 2? Plus kids? Seriously?

V12....... official finance partner of CPFC....

now the interest rate is known it would be great if a competitor offered CPFC ST fans a cheaper deal.

If 15000 ST holders took the finance option would generate @ 750K in interest and fees per my back of a beer mat calculation

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Rudi, I agree with you that CPFC’s approach is expensive. My partner is a Leicester season ticket holder and their process is much better. They credit their account and for every game, money is deducted. If there is no credit, they can’t enter a ballot. She has credited her account with £70.00. Well below the figures we have to pay.

However, there is ‘Freedom’ and in your opinion ‘unreasonable’. Your not contractually obliged to pay the £500-£800 or the holding fee of £200. The price has been set by the club and that’s it. They are not making any of us pay these sums. They done make us buy any shirts, hats....ANYTHING. You have the freedom to walk away and spend your hard earned money on things more reasonable.

Not quite from what I know.

Originally they wanted a non refundable £70, which allowed you to enter ballots for tickets for part capacity matches and keep your season ticket. If successful you pay normal full price ticket prices. If we started playing full capacity matches, then they take the pro rata money for the games after that.

Problem was, if we played no games you lost your £70, which everyone kicked off about. Or if elderly didn't want to go, tough pay your money or lose the season ticket.

They changed things so that If there are no games, they will now hold the £70 in account and take that off next seasons season ticket, presuming things are back to normal.

I was at that game. Atrocious weather with it pi$$ing down the whole game. All fans on the Holmesdale were moved into the Old Stand leaving the 50 or so Carlisle fans on the open terraces. The police finally took pity on them and moved them into the Arthur but not until the second half.
