What a terrific performance from each and every one of them. I was actually pleased when 6 minutes went up at the end, thought we would get a 4th. Absolutely buzzing, well done lads.

Great match, I'm struggling to find a player that had a bad game (even the subs).

Agreed that the James Md/Mac partnership looks so much better than with Luka in there. Whichever one picks up a foul first sub for Luka.

Wardy did very well today. Mitchell was fantastic, except for when he was turned around (1X).

Shluppy I criticize sometimes, but really had a stellar match.

Zaha was fantastic. Townsend and Ayew played great too.

Loving the ManU forums

Only 34 points to safety!
One of our best team performances since returning to the Premier League as we controlled the match and the whole team played well.
Don’t think Mcarthy lost a tackle all game and when he plays like that he’s a huge asset to the team.
Schlupp also played with real drive and purpose.
Kouyate looks so comfortable at centre back Roy will have a tough decision to make when the injured players return.

Immense, every single one of them.

The effort and work rate was fantastic, game plan executed perfectly and although Man U did look very rusty, we totally deserved that.

I absolutely hate VAR and that should never have been a penalty but with the awful modern interpretation of ‘Handball’ I can see why it might have been given. As for the retake, well again...VAR is ruining the game. We may have benefitted but it’s just farcical and we will see so many inconsistencies with that aspect of VAR use during the season.

McCarthy was terrific tackling back and got so many good blocks and important challenges in. Schlupp also worthy of a special mention. Wilf took his goals very well and could’ve maybe had a hat-trick.

Sloppy defending from Kouyate and Sakho for their goal and on another day that could’ve been very costly.

Mitchell has done well but I’m still not convinced he is quite the answer at LB, he does seem to get taken on and beaten far too easily.

Seeing Wilf play up front with some renewed verve has been very promising and with the arrival of Eze (and potentially Benrahma) I’d actually now be interested to see him stay and play in that position this season. I don’t think he will though but I hope I’m wrong.

Overall we played very well and probably created more chances in that game than I saw in all of our Home games combined last Season!

Well done Palace...terrific start!

Quite unbelievable result. Penalty decision was diabolical but I expect it won’t be long before we suffer something similar. I keep criticising Roy but every time we get a result like that I’m proved wrong. Will we lose Zaha? 50/50 after that I reckon but let’s hope not.

Congrats to the team on a very solid performance.

Had our luck but then again we got none when we last played them back in July

Tyrick developing rapidly. Still room for improvement but I think he can make it at this level.

Only managed to watch the second half and thought we should've scored at least five.

If we keep defending like that and keep creating opportunities like that he won't want to go lol

I know it's early days.... but I think Roy has got it right.

I was convinced we'd struggle without some fresh players, he sorted that.

He ensured we played some friendlies and the first team all had a run out.

With the Saints win under our belt we were ready! Man U were not.

So delighted with a perfect start to the season.

The morale in the team must be great.

Wonder how it'll affect Wilf?

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

The new rule around handball in the box is that if the ball hits your arm and it's away from your body it's a penalty. Harsh, but that is the new rule. Again, if the GK has a foot off the line it has to be retaken. Harsh, but that's the rules. We've fallen foul of VAR on numerous occasions, but in terms of the new rules the penalty and the retake is B&W. Nice for these things to go in our favour though
