Immense, every single one of them.

The effort and work rate was fantastic, game plan executed perfectly and although Man U did look very rusty, we totally deserved that.

I absolutely hate VAR and that should never have been a penalty but with the awful modern interpretation of ‘Handball’ I can see why it might have been given. As for the retake, well again...VAR is ruining the game. We may have benefitted but it’s just farcical and we will see so many inconsistencies with that aspect of VAR use during the season.

McCarthy was terrific tackling back and got so many good blocks and important challenges in. Schlupp also worthy of a special mention. Wilf took his goals very well and could’ve maybe had a hat-trick.

Sloppy defending from Kouyate and Sakho for their goal and on another day that could’ve been very costly.

Mitchell has done well but I’m still not convinced he is quite the answer at LB, he does seem to get taken on and beaten far too easily.

Seeing Wilf play up front with some renewed verve has been very promising and with the arrival of Eze (and potentially Benrahma) I’d actually now be interested to see him stay and play in that position this season. I don’t think he will though but I hope I’m wrong.

Overall we played very well and probably created more chances in that game than I saw in all of our Home games combined last Season!

Well done Palace...terrific start!

Many players stumble their run up to make the keeper commit their intentions also if the pen had gone in would the officials still notice the movements of the keeper?

great result love the money 17/2 happy days. but why is Wilf pulling out of 50/50s could have scored at least another de gea was for the taking great penalty, Ayew kick with both feet and never take another penalty, it could have been a bigger score line, but still smiling lowest rating 9 for all players COYP oh forgot Roy went for the juggler Eze and Bats please keep doing it Roy

All of my pre match worries were dispelled by an excellent performance full of pace, tackling and positive controlled aggression!

One of our best team performances since returning to the Premier League as we controlled the match and the whole team played well.
Don’t think Mcarthy lost a tackle all game and when he plays like that he’s a huge asset to the team.
Schlupp also played with real drive and purpose.
Kouyate looks so comfortable at centre back Roy will have a tough decision to make when the injured players return.

Natural if ever a word, needs to be cemented there in our starting 11.

More sh1t tactics from Roy. Sat back too far, picks his favourites like McArthur and Schlupp. No subs and doesn’t give youth a chance.

Even Guaita is getting worse. He’s too old and negative and no players have improved under his tenure. Complete fluke today.

Tbh I think Hennessy is to blame.

How gratifying - a public apology by Graham Souness to all Palace fans !

At the match preview he said Palace play survival football, at the end he said that was wrong - Palace play good football and thoroughly deserved the win.

I hope that cynical gasbag Shearer is similarly complimentary on MOD.

One point, the away kit is smart but the numbers are hard to read. As our main kit is predominantly blue
why don't we use it against the other 'red' teams: Liverpool, Arsenal, Sheff Utd, Villa, Burnley & west Ham ?

I hope not, nor Luka!

They aren't good enough and it's shown for a while last season when they were playing and now they aren't playing it can clearly be seen what we haven't missed.

Luka only gets the nod as he's captain and skilled at free kicks and penalties, well Wilf made sure of his penalty today as well as the captaincy.

A very very good win spoiled again by VAR but it's nice to get something out of Atkinson for once, even though he had to be told by VAR control

What can this strange device be?
When I touch it it gives forth a sound.
