McCarthy was top drawer yesterday. Brilliant signing by Roy.

Gary Neville can sure talk cr*p, not happy about the pen or the retake. Have to admit I do sympathize with him a bit but not to take anything away from our lads. Great effort, Toffees next.

TBF I thought he was very complimentary about Palace throughout the game, more so than the commentator. I would have been peed off if that pen had been given against us but I am sure our time will come

The new rule around handball in the box is that if the ball hits your arm and it's away from your body it's a penalty. Harsh, but that is the new rule. Again, if the GK has a foot off the line it has to be retaken. Harsh, but that's the rules. We've fallen foul of VAR on numerous occasions, but in terms of the new rules the penalty and the retake is B&W. Nice for these things to go in our favour though

I think if the goalkeeper has 1 foot on the line it is ok De Gea didn’t. I also noticed Shaw was encroaching so double whammy

I thought Neville tried to be impartial but it’s a bit disingenuous to claim de Gea was only “a couple of inches off his line” when VAR has ruled offside for armpits and toenails.
Evra was bad “Zaha is too good for team he plays for”? Well, he was too good for the one he was playing against too.
If MOTD showed or mentioned Wilf’s disallowed goal then I missed it - quite possible since I was steaming drunk.
One of them, possibly Souness questioned whether the penalty would have been given had there been 75,000 Man U fans there. History suggests not but maybe VAR is levelling things out.

Zaha well offside for disallowed goal but an excellent finish all the same.

Agreed Eddie.

Luka currently going to struggle to get his place back and rightly so.

What a blind idiot.

Pogba 6 of 10????? At best a 3. Linderhof a 4 of 10???? Responsible (at least partly) for all 3 goals, at best a 2.

Even Martial a 6??? Really? Tell me what he did.

Only VDB should be over a 5.

The better the MU ratings, the higher the win rating for CP!

As this t*sser says, bloody love it.
He has a vocabulary of about ten words. Four of the others are: You're having a larf.
The larf's on you, mate.

I know... When the commentator says it looks like Lindeloff moved his arm towards the ball slightly Neville replied 'No that's just his natural arm movement from running'.... Laughable!!

For what it's worth I did think it was a penalty... I thought the retake was a harsh decision though... Not sure why but Ayews body language just made me feel like he would miss before he stepped up.

Fantastic result... Superb performance and I'm not surprised McCarthy came off towards the end... He was absolutely immense and was everywhere.

Jordan's lob would have gone it, but for the handball. So that makes it a penalty.

Yes he was but I don’t remember Lineker & Co mentioning it at all.

Ayew didn't react did he ..he obviously didn't think anything of it during the incident, it was a ridiculous penalty, never ever one in a million years I'd prefer to beat Man.U Fairly without any help thank the lord Zaha got that 3rd.
