Starting to adore Keir Starmer.

Regardless of party many at MP'a simply go with what they see as popular to ensure they keep their snouts in the taxpayer's trough.

If the public were actually told in a summary how much each MP cost in total, including staff , family employed etc etc they would be outraged even it pales into comparison with the Brussels trough.

At least on HOL peeps with different views can generally have a discussion without it immediately going to insults and vitriol like " the other place "

I agree with CP that the effect of covid on the economy and general well being of the country will take a long time to become apparent in every country, no one has got it " right " outside of a very few Asian countries and perhaps New Zealand where conditions are totally different in terms of ability to control

 


Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
