That's the fella. He was rubbish but still took a place in the squad unlike Marange. So he really must have been pants.

I’d agree Benteke has been our worst signing - obviously a better footballer than the Marange and Fryers but in terms of money spent it’s been a crippling investment from which we‘ve barely benefitted and someone who’s depreciated hugely in value; we’d do well to recover 20% of what we paid.

How can a player that scored 15 goals in a season to secure our place in the Premier, be our worst signing ever? The wages he gets is insignificant to what we would of lost being relegated.

I was going to go with Wayne Andrews who we signed from Colchester in the 04/05 season... But a quick look on Wilki shows he played 33 games for us which I found astonishing as I thought he only played about 3 games and was absolute rubbish!!
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |
