Agree on Brolin mate! Appalling mess of a footballer by the time we got him ...

Didn't the fact that he resembled the Pillsbury Dough Boy not cause us to pause pre purchase?

I seem to recall his game plan seemed to consist of him carrying he excess girth onto the pitch, loping around the centre circle for 90 mins and then lolloping back to the changing rooms for what he no doubt considered was a well earned rest. If by happenstance he actually touched the ball it appeared to be by pure error.

Have we ever had our pants pulled down so blatantly? Still laughing all the way to Leeds.

Ahh, Jimmy Kebe.
I can remember his style, but never his name.
That's because he was not worthy of remembering with any kind of association with our club.

He was brought on at Old Trafford. Like watching a cat trying to use a typewriter.

Actually more like a newborn giraffe.

I remember Brolin jumping for the ball in midfield.

It had all the enthusiasm of Will Young in a brothel.

No-one has mentioned Claude Davis. When he was on the pitch, no-one, but no-one except the ball was safe.

Always entertaining to watch, though.

Brolin had severe competition in the fat boy mantle, Ruddock came back for pre season training and couldnt fit into any of the shorts. Since then he seems to be on a mission to kill himself with eating and drinking, as seen on that Redknap old boys programme.

Lot of dreck to choose from here but let me throw out Steve Mandanda, just for the frustration level he brought in.

Clive Allen

Ok - he didn’t do badly but losing Kenny Sansom is a blow I still haven’t quite got over :-)

Allen was an incredible goal scorer, just didn’t quite happen for us. Think he got 11 in his season, although should have been 12 but for the phantom goal which hit the upright and came out again.

We have had worse but it’s just the money we spent on him 1m was probably like spending 40+ today
