But its not a question of one horrific isolated incident, things have to be seen in the round.

Without austerity in the past you would have had no furlough or financial help during this crisis. Think about where we would be now.

As a Croydon resident since 2010, I can honestly say I've never experienced or witnessed and violent crime. Like any big town on the London outskirts it obviously goes on but it's certainly not common place like some seem to think.

New Zealand was colonised by the British, who are genetic northern European indigenous to these islands. They are part of the anglosphere and our cousins.

How can you make a big deal about foreigners when you don't even fly an English or British flag?

Anyway this type of discussion feels kind of unseemly on this thread.

It was dan making the deal about foreigners stirling, i was just making the point that without foreigners- this event would never have happened- as the shooter and the victim would be at home- in a foreign land!
