Thought in the last two defeats that Zaha and Eze got in each other’s way occasionally and the balance of the team was therefore affected? We looked better in the first two matches with Schlupp on the left. Need to fit Eze in, perhaps alongside Bats or dare I say Benteke upfront? Balance within the first 11 is one of the major factors in getting the right result and we lacked it big time today. Didn’t help as well that the two Mac’s looked out of sorts as well?

You didn't post this tirade after we beat Southampton and Utd, why was that not much has changed?

It's hardly a tirade. It's my view of how is the club is at the moment. Not much has changed in 3/4 years never mind Southampton and man u. Sorry, I'll keep my opinions to myself in future, painter, old plum.

Yep agree, Liverpool really ripped SP off with the fees we paid for Benteke and Sakho, probably why he does not trust their valuations these days1

Poor defending, we need Cahill, tomkins and maybe bring in Clyne. Poor substitutes.

We need to get our s***e together for the Tesco bags match

Its your timing, its odd you post it after a poor performance and not a win, as if you have been saving it up waiting.

This board would be extremely dull if we all meekly accepted rubbish performances with the mantra that Roy has kept us in the PL for a few years.

Today's showing took us right back to the end of last season.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

Other mid-table teams have good days and bad days. This year we have played well in 3 games and had a bad one today. Much better than last season which was basically consistent meh! Much rather what we have now.

Look, the time to criticise is if todays terrible performance continues against Fulham and Brighton.

Not sure how long you have been supporting, but can you name the last creative central midfielder in the team. Cabaye was a defensive midfielder who could pass, not the same thing.

Eze

He along with Ayew Zaha and Townsend were rubbish today. Total crap. Offered no outlet lost the ball easily or fell on the floor. All lost their personal battles.

Agreed we were too defensive but the players have to take responsibility as well.

Eze was fouled practically every single time he tried to move forward so he cannot be blamed for Chelsea's disgusting tactics to stop us, Sakho sadly was our only player who lost the plot and subsequently the game, everyone else did a sound job against a very professional fouling outfit.
