Yep, the current scenario cannot go on any longer. 1. The manager's contract expires at the end of the season. He will be 74 at the start of next season. Will he realistically carry on again ? He is already the oldest ever top flight manager when he reached 71. 2. Our squad is really starting to age now. Players are getting into their 30's rather than reaching 30 now. That's without all those out of contract. The club are in situation where things simply can't carry on. I would expect us to survive again this season, and maybe reach mid table status (10-12). But come the summer we will be in all sorts of problems if things are sorted out soon. Otherwise we will be a typical Palace situation of searching for a new manager in the summer, then trying to get new players in (which we are not particularly great in sorting quickly).

If you look from where we were, when he took over to where we are now. We have gone from a yoyo club to a "treading water" club, which is a vast improvement, than any period of 52 years supporting.
Why would any sensible minded person, want him out?

There is no point writing good honest common sense on here, they just keep on coming back with utter trash.
It is quite obvious our squad is good enough this season, the only issues we will have is when our manager leaves and the funds that will be available for the new man.

We all accept that, including the board hence the movement for Eze and Ferguson and the significant development of the Academy. If the right young players are available in January and the summer, I'm sure we will bring them in and ease out some of our geriatrics.

The cracks are there for all to see however and we are going to need some highly flexible filler very soon.

Ironically, I think we are now playing the best football since Roy has arrived and we have improved tactically, so I’ve definitely cut back on criticism since the debacle of the Chelsea and Brighton performances. The cracks are there for all to see however and we are going to need some highly flexible filler very soon.

Our 'Dad's Army' squad are going to be found wanting as the season progresses.
