And Jairo (player of the month) on the bench ... Roy’s lost it!!!

quote=jeeagles;3586593]

3-0 down against 10 men.

There's a defensive midfielder at centre back, an attacking midfielder on the left wing, a left back on the right wing, a winger up front.

Seemingly impossible for the favourites to be dropped.

How are you going to defend this c*** this week?

As much as I'd like Roy to move on I didnt really want it to happen mid-season for the instability it could cause, however another couple of poor results and we may need a rescue job, which will surely limit who we can attract. A classic case of watching the house go up in flames and doing nothing - obvious what has been coming. I just hope that we can limp over the finish line this season and make ourselves look somewhat steady to attract a proper manager rather than another stop-gap appointment.

Cannot see a new manager presently joining unless they have assurances that there is some money to spend in January.

The team were s***e today, and the manager must accept his share of the blame for that, but only his share and no more.

For all those lining up to demand Roy be sacked, or at least replaced at seasons end, please do enlighten the world as to who exactly you think we can get in to do a better job.

And if you're answer is 'anybody would be better' then thank the good lord you're only posting on a forum and not running the club.

The blew the chance to do it at the end of last season when excuse after excuse was drummed up to cover for his multiple repeated failings.

I think we are now at the point where he can be no longer be trusted to be in charge of any aspect of the team.

I think part of the point is that he doesn’t take his share of the blame.

We win and he takes the credit. It’s the system, his talent, his experience.

We lose and

“The players didn’t do what was asked” or “the players need to learn from this”

Considering how he bangs on about his experience, Stevie Wonder could tell you some of our issues. Schlupp is not a right winger, Milo
is playing badly, MacArthur is knackered and PVA is the biggest liability out there

Yet we have the players to do his system but he will not drop his favourites even if they are playing badly or are knackered.

Our genius manager couldn’t use Camarasa, Meyer, Reidiwald etc and now has managed to take Eze and Zaha and nullify them too. He should build his team round them.

There’s a reason he failed at every big job and the malaise that happened with England is setting in. Roy once said he should be thought of in the same breath of as Ferguson.

The entire issue with Roy is he has his favourites and picks them, the rest are shoehorned in. We have real talent in Townsend, Zaha, Eze, Benteke but they are afterthoughts to jamming in dross like Milo, PVA, Schlupp (on the right) and a knackered Jimmy Mac.
