Steve Parish says to a prospective manager "We are in the mire,we need saving from relegation, the players are old and need replacing asap and by the way here is �5 Mill for your transfer budget" !
I don't think there will be too many interested under these conditions!!

The issue I see is that a whole raft of players are in the twilight of their careers and cannot perform to the level required on a consistent basis.They are not the players they once were.

Indeed we do, and if there is a hungry young manager out there such as (or like) Thomas Frank and he believes he can get more out of our existing squad than is currently the case, then he'd jump at the opportunity. There are promising youngsters in our other squads. They may not be ready just yet but two or three of them soon will be.

Support some renewal of contracts for just six months - there can always be an extension - (perhaps only known to the player) with longer terms announced. Ten goals in two matches does seem like putting both the manager position, and player options in the "shop window". There will be managers who jump at the chance to go forward with three new signings, plus six coming from the academy (which I feel is the right ratio and sends the correct message to the Academy). COYP.

I lost faith in Roy, after the disgraceful end to last season, I can't forgive that and I've wanted him gone since. If the club had any real ambition, we should be looking at someone of Pochettino's level. Oh and keep Freedman as far away from the managers position as possible. (Southampton and Wolves are are a fantastic examples with their managers and what their status was before they were appointed). There isn't any industry devoid of new talent.

That's our clubs responsibility though. And I hope they have their eyes on someone.
