Parish will hang on to Roy as long as he can. He wont want to be the man who sacked Roy in his last job before retirement.
He has a weakness of showing too much loyalty, in Roys case for keeping us up the last 3 years.

Close to the end of the road for Roy now I'd say. We can't have a repeat of this next season.

This is the first time where I've seriously thought "Are they going to sack him?" I've always been resigned to the idea of letting Roy see out his contract, but he and the team are making it really hard to back him. If this wasn't likely to be his last job I do wonder if he'd have any support.

I imagine the odds on him being sacked just got a lot shorter.
