If we stay up and if Wilf goes and if Roy is here next season we will be high odds on to go down.

Shakespeare would make an excellent manager, that speech in Henry V is the stuff of legend!
Compare that to some duffer going on about an astronaut and a monkey.

Leicester say that Shakespeare's reign was 'Much Ado About Nothing.

For f*** sake, why has Roy not been sacked after another dire performance yesterday, team selection again awful, how can you play 4-4-2 with no wingers, Eze is an attacking central midfielder, Ayew, well is nothing, was watching Roy standing motionless on the sidelines, all I could think about was that Iceland game, as clueless as ever, oh yes, Koyuate at centre back is a liability..

For me at least make an offer to Rafa, he might just fancy living in Croydon

Rafa would want a large budget which he won't get here

Roy’s saving grace will be our current points which have us level with Southampton and1 behind Wolves and both of their managers get lauded by the media.

I wonder how Southampton fans feel about their situation when they are no better off than us?

It’s a funny aul season.

Even Roy conceded when it was mentioned if we beat Burnley it would be our best points total at this stage of the season, that it didn’t feel like that. It has been a strange season so far.

Hodgson has done the job I would expect him to do with the resources available; in the same way as Pardew and Allardyce before him.
Pulis was the true miracle worker when you consider the available resources for him in our first year after promotion.
He will never be seen in the same light as Hodgson because of the way he departed and also because he wasn’t born in Croydon.
But it’s difficult to draw any other conclusion from an objective analysis of the squad he worked with compared with the squads his successors worked with.
Oh.. and he worked on defensive and offensive set pieces.
If management is defined as provision of leadership and making best use of available resources can people seriously say Hodgson has excelled in these areas over the past year?
We look rudderless and it’s time for a change at the end of the season.

I honestly can't believe Roy is still in position - after yesterday's debacle I really thought that was it and SP had to act - but nothing..!!

What is it with SP ain't he seeing what the rest of us are seeing - it's as plain as the nose on your face Roy has lost it.

The players ain't playing for him, he's lost the dressing room and lost the plot and hasn't got a clue how to arrest the downward curve that has been going on for over a year now.

As I have said before the lack of any comments/statement from SP and the board is deafening - something just ain't right.

At this point IMO the inertia of action from the board on Roy staying in post given what is happening in terms of results and performances is bordering on mismanagement and incompetence..!!

Perhaps he's waiting for the trouncing by Brighton, that way he knows he's covered from the inevitable "Oh poor Uncle Croydon Roy, he's seems such a nice fellow, but after that 6-0 thrashing by Brighton, he had to go" type comment

If Roy hangs around until the season's end,he will have fulfilled his brief from controller Parish by staying up,even if we are in 17th place which looks like a nailed on certainty with our distinct lack of leadership, confidence guts, courage and fight.
We expect and deserve better.

Alternatively, Parish is well aware that a change needs to be made.

His preferred option/s are not available at the precise moment in time.

We have enough points in the bag to have confidence in our ability to avoid relegation this season.

Therefore it makes no sense to part company with the manager now.
