Last season Wilf was not great and Roy found a way to win ugly, with a series of insipid 1-0 wins and never scoring more than 2 goals a game. This season Wilf has returned and in a number of games he has inspired us to victory. With Ayew not starting the season well, Bentenke still having no confidence and Batshuayi seemingly unable to stay onside, if Wilf is out for any significant number of games this season we could really struggle based on the last two games. In fairness, you take the best player out of any team outside of the big 6 and they will generally struggle to perform as well. I seem to remember when Vardy was out Leicester couldn't buy a win (until they played us!)

Roy has quite clearly lost is way and in any event,is likely to retire at the end of his contract this season.
Why not thank him for the incredible job in keeping us up over the past few seasons, pay him off and offer the job to this natural winner?'

I am sure Mr Pochettino has been pining for the job at CPFC and praying to the good Lord that an offer comes his way.

I might be imagining things, but I'm sure I read a Spurs player saying that the fitness regime was pretty intense so they could play the high press. Can't see Pochettino doing that with this squad, average age 30 plus.
That said, I'd be happy to see Pochettino take over.

I heard that growing up as a young boy he modelled his game on Billy Gilbert.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Oh I know it's highly unlikely. I'm sticking with Freedman to take over in the New Year :p

So, just on the off chance he said yes, would you say no?
