I am left wondering whether the man is past his 'sell by date' in terms of the premier league. By the way, I met an elderly Croydon man recently who said the town was called Croydon as it was a major area for cultivating crocus.(sorry a bit of useless info)

My view is that overall he's been very good but age injuries and fitness have caught up with him.

Given that he is liable to drop a clanger in every game, he certainly is a liability. Far too inconsistent to merit a starting place.
