Having watched it and then read the comments below the video, I find it worrying and frightening how easily people swallow these types of things hook line and sinker, doing precisely what they accuse others of doing when they blindly follow and believe what they’re told by the mainstream media.

It’s a total schizophrenic mish mash of a documentary with no real firm facts just lots of assumptions stated as fact leading to more assumptions stated as facts. I don’t doubt there are very bad people doing very bad things who hold certain positions of power - it comes with the territory; and of course people in power will use media and whatever else to hold onto power and money - I would’ve thought that is obvious to most; but the leaps and connections this particular documentary makes are huge and just zig zag all over the place and just smack of anything but ‘critical thinking.’ Look at the two main talking heads in it: the retired stunt guy and the journalist lady; they seem genuine people but I wouldn’t say well informed or psychologically balanced. Just my observation.

The classic thing you’ll find in all these types of conspiracy documentaries is the constant low drone scary background audio, all playing into seducing the viewers emotions like a well told ghost story. Why do people that watch and believe everything they see on these types of docs never question why someone would bother placing a soundtrack like that behind a subject supposedly so serious? It’s there for one reason and one reason alone - to manipulate the viewers feelings like all good story telling does. And yet it’s the people who question these types of narrative that are ‘sheep’. Now, if what you were documenting was as factual and serious as what they’re claiming, why bother doing that? Doesn’t it just demean the seriousness and authenticity of what you’re trying to get across?

Normally I wouldn’t mind this kind of stuff; I enjoy a good conspiracy theory even if it’s totally ludicrous as many are; but under the current situation, a lot of the types who are easily seduced by conspiracies is becoming very dangerous. The amount of people I’ve heard who claim covid is not real and/or all part of a hidden plan by people in power, the anti mask wearers or anti vaxers....is truely concerning as everyone’s actions at the moment really does have an affect on everyone else.

The problem is, all this nonsense and noise like Qanon does is to detract from the main story of incompetence by those in authority that is truly threatening our lives.
