I don't see the game yesterday but Southgate has had quite a few off field issues to deal with to do with players. I didn't hear much complaining after the Belgium result. Lot of bluff about winning even without Kane!

It's hard to believe that only a couple of years ago he was being hailed as a breath of fresh air, a good man manager, almost a national hero, a cult figure whose dress style led to shops running out of waistcoats. I wonder who's wearing those now.

GS said all the right things to ingratiate himself to the FA and the England job. Now he has the job, he's very much pl55ing in the wind, IMO.
RH is a different matter, where he no doubt has restrictions on budgets, but has done well in spite of deficiencies. It hasn't been pretty, but it's been effective, as far as finances are concerned.

There seems to be some fascination with re-signing previous Palace players/managers. We tend to forget there was a reason they were 'got rid'.

Roy will go in the near future. But getting Southgate in would likely be a big mistake. SG talks a good fight, but his words are largely empty.

totally agree with 'material' man. Both made from the same batch of cloth!
Grealish, Man of the Match against Wales, on subs bench! I ask you!?
No creativity, midfield, crab like passes.
Maguire overhyped, at best a Championship player.
Palace need the Watford midfielder and the Brentford guy along with Josh King and we might be challenging something, rather than staying 'just up'!!!

He isn’t good enough for top flight club management, but perfect for National Manager as he says the right words.
Lost any credibility he had by continually picking that donkey McGuire, who has no ability or confidence and has personal issues.

He isn't a good player at all, I remember Zaha destroying him when we beat them 5-1 at home about five years ago, he is a typical England player.

Roy take note. Look what happens when you attack Chelsea. We gave them a freebie two weeks ago
