Does this new proposal mean they are all going it alone or are we going to get stuck with the Champions yawn League for the entire season on top of the Premiership?

It will probably happen at some point. It's been on the cards for a while and won't go away.It was probably not entirely co-incidence that Project Big Picture first raised its ugly head last week.

There will no doubt be more to come in the way of carrots and sticks until eventually everyone caves in to the demands of FIFA, or whoever, and the big clubs.

I have serious doubts as to whether the fans of Liverpool, United etc. want this. I think most supporters see European success as a bonus but still see the Premier League as the gold standard, and Liverpool and United fans get far more satisfaction from beating each other than beating, say, PSG or Real Madrid.

Agree - it will happen one day. Football = greed and the super powers will eventually get their way. Everyone goes on about the football pyramid but deep down they don’t care,

It’s every club for themselves and if you can put a proposal together to make even more billions, they will push for it.
