I will certainly NOT be parting with £15 not because of any reasons of principle but solely because I have NO interest whatsoever in seeing us play our brand of turgid football.

I am still 'Scarred" from the Brighton game and it follows on from our dearth of goals in previous seasons and our negative brand of football.
Hodgson prefers 'Workhorses' over flair and whilst I appreciate that shape and organisation are important one can still play a more ambitious brand of football within these parameters.

There were pleas for more forward thinking players following on from our paltry total of 31 goals last season.Batshuayi and Eze were signed and both were not thrust straight into the team.Eze has started but has now been benched and if Ayew had been available against Brighton, Batshuayi would not have started.Eze could have been brought on against Brighton to get us up the pitch but I suspect this wasn't even a consideration.

Due to principle I will not be paying. Think its a step too far for me.

Like you however I am still angry with that pathetic performance by Roy and the team last week.

So, how many on here will admit that THEY will pay the PPV charge for the Fulham game?

I'll see what else there is to do on this rainy, muddy, locked down weekend first, try to forget that ppv is an option, attempt various hooky streams to see it for free, try and talk the Mrs into a bit of the other upstairs and then, having failed miserably in all these endeavours, reluctantly pay the fecking money for the game.

Apparently, lots of people are using VPN, connecting to a server in an English speaking country where the subscription to watch all games live is much less than in the UK.

Totally outrageous if you ask me, i totally would not do that.

I heard it's even worse, that people with half decent internet connections are following internet guides and downloading apps onto their firesticks that allow them to watch it all on their TVs for free. Absolute reprobates.

I've not read the whole post, but I just pay £9.99 for a Now TV Sky day pass when I need it - am I missing something here - why do Sky think they can get away with £15?
Luckily for me a couple of games have been on Amazon Prime or BT sport which is free because of annual subscription or broadband contract.

I read various hookers at first and wondered why your weekend would be dour. Then I saw the knock back mrs bit and feel your pain.

Yes - I've not bothered with Sky up to now and am more irritated by having loaned the club £800 for our season tickets.

On a general point I don't the problem with the PPV. People are prepared to pay it watch a couple of blokes smash each other to bits in a boxing ring and Sky have never offered every Premier League match live as part of the package previously.

As far as entertainment goes that's always been secondary anyway although admittedly it helps.

I am not happy with the fee and think its a rip off, but at the same time there is no live football I can go and watch, even local non-league games are behind closed doors so it comes down to whether I would rather do nothing (football-wise) on saturday afternoon, or stump up a high fee.

If I thought the campaigns to boycott the ppv games would achieve anything that would probably sway my thinking, but sadly I don't.

Local non league games are certainly not behind closed doors and Croydon Athletic are at home tomorrow at 3pm. There is also a small but vociferous Palace gathering. They even try to attack and get the ball in the opponents half. £8 entrance.

N.B. From November Croydon FC will actually be playing all home games at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, something that CPFC have never managed.

Not paying to watch that dross. I’m a season ticket holder who was going mad with the tedious tactics a long time ago. Was it last season or the one before when we had no goals at home from open play before November or near enough.

I’ve decided to stop putting my life on hold while the game is on. I’m going out with the wife and kids this afternoon. Maybe I will get a pleasant surprise.

I am of similar mindset.
I shall not be parting with a penny and my intention is to watch a non-league game instead.
Perhaps I will also get a pleasant surprise with us getting 2 shots on target!

Not a chance.

The one thing about not being able to attend is it makes you realise how much time and effort going to a home match takes (when you don’t live locally anymore), especially when we’re playing in the way we did against Brighton. I might not renew mine and the kids season tickets next year and just go to games as and when.

It’s a disgrace. Sky, the premier league, the clubs and players all need the money, every year. We should all do our bit and maintain the life they’ve become accustomed to.
