Didn’t he score against them with his head in the 3-2 home win?

It was the match he scored a brace against Brighton when he had long dreads. Scored a great header from a lovely ball from deep from Luka. I think his other goal was a tap in from a shot from someone else.

What about that long shot bullet he scored in lock down. He should take more long shots. He’s has got a bullet like shot. Also he should take more heading practise. I bet even Wilf was sick by that missed header yesterday. I mean especially he should have scored. And what a goal it would have been. Yesterday maybe the start of something really special. If we keep doing that then we are going to get some big wins. Just keep Wilf firing.

Not excusing the miss but in the present climate I think he would have been offside

Wilf has almost everything in his locker - it is all about his motivation and probably how Hodgson set up the team tactics.
With PVA back, Eze and Riedewald blossoming, good alternatives at right back and Townsend back to the player he was a couple of seasons ago - it is time for some positive thinking.
Leave the shackles in the dressing room and we have a team of amazing talent - with WZ as our crown jewel.

That will be the same Cascarino who slagged Wilf off for lack of commitment after Chelsea! Change like the wind some people

I was just thinking of the ultimate irony after reading Townsend's interview where he reckons Wilf will get his move.

He signs for Everton in the January window and Palace nick the last spot in the Europa League last game of the season, pipping Everton by a point. His Palace buddies play in Europe next season and Wilf asks for a transfer back. Perfect

PS: I know it aint gonna happen, but whatever.

There could be offers in January if he continues to score. I was kind of hoping something mad like him getting 20 for us this season. A mad dream I know.
