Been doing lots of painting and diy during lockdown and my elbow joint has been really painful for about 2 weeks now, if I pick up something a pain shoots through my elbow joint anyone ever had tennis elbow and how did they deal with it?

There is an elbow support brace you can get for £5 or £6 which isn’t too obtrusive and can help.

Been taking down walls at mine with a breaker and kango gun, both elbows are f*cked.
Will do some re hab up the gym when I’m done with the walls, have had it before from training , like shin splints it really hurts for a bit, then just goes.
Try the support, it goes at the top of your fore arm , it does help.

Depending on where the pain is it might be Golfers Elbow similar to Tennis Elbow but on the inside of the. They can both take ages to get better

TUX asked that this piece of advice be posted here for the benefit of all

Due to 30+yrs in the construction trade, my elbows (knees too) had also been shot for a long while BUT a friend once told me to take a few Wine Gums everyday as apparently the body can't reproduce gelatine? This could well be a crock o's***/placebo but all i know is that generally i've felt better for it ever since.
So if anyone here is on HOL then please drop them a line as it may well help others as much as it has me. And lets face it, who doesn't like a Wine Gum.

I am more a fan of eating a cube of jelly a day. Gelatin is rich in protein, and has a unique amino acid profile that gives it many potential health benefits. There is evidence that gelatin may reduce joint and bone pain, increase brain function and help reduce the signs of skin aging.

Has to taste nicer than Voltarol. That’s horrible.
