A good first half winning 2-0 against Reading at the new Academy pitch.

Reading exposing the Palace rear-guard though there have been some howlers.

Notably by Butland, Cahill and Sakho !

2 goals from Matthews who has a cool head.

Ended 6-0 bit harsh on Reading. 2 great saves by Butland, brilliant header by Streete and sublime volley after great move from Pierrick. 2 for Matthews, 2 for Streete, 1 for Pierrick and Banks penalty

last 20 mins were amazing as we scored four more and kept a clean sheet. Reading must be devastated because they actually played quite well with the ball. However, they clearly need a better defence. Matthew's assist for the 5th goal (a good Pierrick volley) showed a quick and imaginative football brain. The lad looks promising. A great way for U23s to christen the new academy pitch.

Agreed, just finished, 6-0 to Palace against the PL2 leaders.

Mathews-2, Street-2, Perrick & MOTM Banks pen

Agree about Mathews. Also like the look of Street and the lb

I think he is Hannam?

Could be another LB find for us.
