I'd say Foden certainly is. But all other attacking English midfielders have blown hot and cold this year Mount, Grealish, Maddison etc.

I'd certainly have Eze on the plane though, Olise too if he could be convinced. Sadly I don't think Gareth will, and I'm sure we can all look forward to him still persisting with Maguire in defence

But can he pass side to side and back when there is a forward pass on instead? If so he will have passed the default Southgate test.

Eze could make it and certainly has more end product than some other players mentioned. The problem with Southgate is he has his favourites and would even pick them if they were out of form or had a broken leg. Can’t stand him, think he’s a right t***!
