We can all have a go at Benteke but my goodness I thought Townsend especially in the second half was awful. I hope when Zaha is back that him and Eze play and Townsend gets the bench. Pope pulled of a great save from Benteke as well. At least he got it on target.

We knew Benteke isn’t really the answer. Bats is rapidly showing he isn’t either. Well that’s our choices done!

Time waisting de luxe (how can the ref allow it when it is so obvious?), did Townsend hit a team mate with a pass in 2nd half, Ayew and Batman together is not working, good to see Clyne getting better and better.

Batshuayi is so lazy, seems disinterest and I’m so so bored of him missing chances (or indeed when he does manage to get the ball in the net, being offside). Benteke is done. Two F**KING HUGE chances to rescue a point and failed again. We lacked any urgency and should be ashamed of ourselves. Says it all. First half we looked like we were playing in slow motion. No urgency. Then it was headless chickens.

Had enough chances to get something out of that but fluffed all our chances. Strikers need to take a look at themselves and improve.

Benteke and his first touch man! Whenever any team is on a bad run or can't score, they look at the fixture list to see when they've got Palace so they know when it'll end.

Got what we deserved... When we're bad we really are bad!! Eze and Clyne the only positives. It was always going to be a battle of who scored first tonight as both sides rely on that and then use their defensive qualities to defend the lead as we are both lacking in midfield quality to unlock defences. I've yet to see anything this season yet to convince me Batshuayi will do anything for us... Thank god we didn't have to pay £14.95 for that. Oh well on to Newcastle which really is a must win for me. 0 points against Burnley and Newcastle would be extremely disappointing
